Defining Minimum Upper Bound on an Attribute

If I define an Upper Minimum Bound for an attribute (not to be confused with min/max length), what if any impacts does this have on how the directory works with that attribute?  I've got a legacy Directory String attribute where this is set to 65535 and would like to remove that setting if the impact is minimal.

Thanks!

Re: Defining Minimum Upper Bound on an Attribute

Our server does not use the upper minimum bound element (the optional integer surrounded by curly braces immediately following the OID) of an attribute type’s syntax declaration in any way. It is safe to remove.
